We currently offer three programs within our Sewing Club:

Machine Sewing Workshop: A structured, 4-hour class where participants learn how to use a sewing machine and make their very own tote bag.

Hand Embroidery Workshop: A structured, 3-hour class where participants learn the craft of hand embroidery and make “meditation scrolls.

“Free Sew” Session: Unstructured time where participants can bring their own projects or alterations, get help from experienced sewists, and learn basic machine sewing. No RSVP required.

Machines + materials are provided at all workshops and sessions.

All currently announced workshops are listed on eventbrite page here:

Reservations open for Machine Sewing and Hand Embroidery workshops 1-2 weeks in advance. We recommend setting a reminder via eventbrite since classes sell out very quickly. We continually announce new dates and list them on our eventbrite page and the library calendar. If you are not able to secure a seat to our structured workshops, we recommend stopping by one of our “Free Sew” sessions.
